How it works
A Magnetic Night, in three steps.
Claim a seat.
When a night is scheduled we email the founding list, and you claim a seat for that evening.
We match you.
No swiping and no profiles to browse. The app pairs you with someone who is also looking for you.
Meet on video.
One or two people, 20 minutes each. Afterwards you each privately say if you’d like to see the other again, and only a mutual yes is shared.

Photo privacy
Other members never see your photo.
You add a photo later, and we ask for your explicit consent before analyzing it. Matching uses facial geometry as one ingredient. Others see only an illustrated avatar, and you can delete your data from your profile or by request. Your photo is analyzed by our AI provider, and a small number of Magnetic administrators can view it for safety and support.
The idea: long-term partners tend to resemble each other. Whether that predicts a good first date is unproven, and it is what this beta is testing.
